2010 ULV Calibrations |
Pesticide regulations require that ALL ULV machines, including state-owned machines, be calibrated annually.
For your convenience the following State-Sponsored ULV ROUNDUP’s will be held at various locations on the following dates:
- Wed, April 21st: Edenton, Chowan County, Northeastern Regional Airport
- Thurs, April 22nd: Rocky Mount, Edgecombe/Nash County, Rocky Mt. Environmental Services Complex
- Wed, April 28th: Whiteville, Columbus County, Cooperative Extension Office
- Thurs, April 29th: New Bern, Craven County, Cooperative Extension Office
Classroom portion will start promptly at 9 a.m.

Pesticide B recertification credits will be awarded for attending the morning program.

Pesticide Certification Classes: |
Anyone who operates a ULV machine or applies larvicides should have a NC Pesticide Applicator License in Category B (public health).
Classes and certification are offered through NC Dept of Ag. Please contact the Pesticide Section at 919-733-3556 for more
information. |

Vendor-Sponsored Training/Workshops: |
Every year the vendors offer training workshops across the state. In addition to obtaining continuing education credits for Category B, Public Health Pesticide Applicator’s License, these
workshops are an excellent way to meet and network with other mosquito control professionals in the area.
